Famous Pink Diamonds
The Iranian Crown Jewels are set with the world's largest pink diamond. It is named the Sea of Light or in Persian the Darya- I-Noor. Since the stone is so large - it weighs about 186 carats - seeing the pink color is rather easy. With smaller stones a less intense pink color will be harder to distinguish.

Another famous pink diamond is the 59.60 carat Steinmetz. This stone boasts a fancy vivid pink color and is the largest diamond ever to have received this grading by GIA. The stone is owned by the famous diamond wholesalers, the Steinmetz Group.
